The old spelling was Gurgaon, the official name is Gurugram, and the character is the same either way - the Millennium City, India's densest concentration of multinational corporate offices packed into a few square kilometres. We understand the teams inside those towers because we are one of them.
Gurugram grew vertically and fast. A company takes two floors in Cyber City, another two in a DLF phase, a support function in Udyog Vihar, and within a year the organisation is spread across postcodes and platforms.
