A school wall becomes a canvas.
Every child deserves to walk into a school that feels alive: a place whose walls say that learning is exciting and someone cares. The Makeover Challenge gives your team a hands-on role in making that happen.
Working alongside professional street artists, participants transform the weathered walls of a government school into bold, vibrant murals children will see every day.
The Success Tea team visits the site in advance, identifies areas for transformation, and works with the artists to sketch the designs on the walls. When your team arrives, the canvas is ready. Pick up a brush, choose a colour, and add your energy to something the school community can enjoy long after the day is over.

01Do participants need any artistic ability?+
No. Professional street artists create the design and sketch it on the wall in advance. Participants bring the energy and help fill in the colours, with guidance throughout.
02How long does the makeover take?+
The activity is designed to fit within the 90-to-120-minute session. The mural comes together progressively as teams work across different sections of the wall.
03What kind of designs are painted on the walls?+
The designs are created with the street artists and chosen to be meaningful, age-appropriate, and uplifting for the school’s students, using bold colours and inspiring imagery.
04What do participants say when they see the finished mural?+
Teams value having made something tangible together: a mural they can photograph and point to, knowing it will remain part of the school community beyond the activity day.
